Stage Kids

Every Saturday, the Gateway Stage Kids get together for one hour to interact through drama games, imagine new scenes and scenarios, play different characters from known or new stories, and learn to speak with confidence. At the end of the module, the children’s learning culminates in a mini presentation for parents. Join us in learning the three C’s of Drama: Confidence, Creativity and Compassion, at Gateway Stage Kids.

To build the child’s independence amongst other participants of the same age group, parents are advised not to sit-in for the class.

Our Drama Trainers

Helming the Gateway Drama Kids programme is our regular collaborators ACT 3 Theatrics.

Stepping into the fourth decade as Singapore’s first professional theatre company, ACT 3 Theatrics continues to focus on children. They are committed to inspiring children in their hands-on quest to learn, explore, experiment, create, articulate and present. What children enjoy most is the act of doing things. They blossom to their full potential when surrounded by a sense of joy, wonder, spontaneity and freedom. ACT 3 Theatrics is dedicated in developing an environment where children’s thoughts are respected and their voices are heard loud and clear.

ACT 3 Theatrics MISSION is to equip children with literary, theatrical and critical thinking skills using traditional, new-age media, pop culture and digital technology. To provide platforms where they can – with their peers – imagine, explore, experiment, create, articulate, display, present, stage their thoughts, dreams, writings and performances.

To inspire in the young, a sense of joy in the creative process, cultivate self-belief and self-confidence.
